Your student e-mail address

As a student at FHM, you will receive your own FHM student email address based on your matriculation number for the duration of your studies. This will be sent to you together with your login data for Microsoft365 at the beginning of your studies and has the format [matriculation number]@studi.fh-mittelstand.de.

If you have misplaced or accidentally deleted the email, you can request a new student email address from the University Computer Center. Simply enter your matriculation number and the e-mail address you have stored in TraiNex and we will send it to you again. You can access the University Computer Center website here.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions

Log in with your FHM e-mail address at https://portal.office.com. Click on the Outlook symbol and you will be in your mailbox.

You can also send and receive mails via your existing mail client. The server data for the setup is found automatically in most programs. If this is not the case, you will find all the necessary information here:

You can change your password after login on the Office page at https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info.

If you have forgotten your password, please request your details again on this page. We will recognize that an account already exists and send you a new password to the email address you have stored in Trainex.

TraiNex mails are purely internal and do not leave the campus management system. However, you will receive a copy of an incoming Trainex message to the private mailbox stored in your Trainex profile.

Emails to your student email address will only appear in Microsoft 365, e.g. Outlook. You can have the emails forwarded to your normal, private email address in the 'Forwarding' section so that you do not have to check several inboxes for emails.
